This week we've concluded our history learning and the impact of World War Two on the world, ahead of Bletchley Park on Tuesday. In Geography, we brought all our learning together to weigh up whether sweatshops should be banned and gathered views for a balanced argument about whether schools should have a sports day or not, ready to debate this week. In Maths, we continue to learn about geometry as pupils identify 3D shapes by edges, faces and vertices. We're drawing and reading angles, which will progress into angles of quadrilaterals and triangles next week. 

Next week, we will begin our day in Church for our Leaver's Service. On Tuesday, we are at Bletchley Park. Due to issues with the school internet due to the heat, we cannot guarantee we'll be able to show these videos to the children ahead of Tuesday and thus would be very appreciative if you could.

Please keep PE kits in school until Thursday as children will still have PE Wednesday and, hopefully, our traditional Yr5/6 Capture the Flag game (pending heat). 

Can I also ask for all reading books to be returned directly to teachers before the end of term - especially if they are from Mrs Schmidt's/ Mr Geary's reading corner as they have been purchased by ourselves.
